The RAT can be installed on deck on a riser between a diameter of 150mm (6″) to 350mm (14″) with proper inserts and can be removed easily and quickly subsea by an ROV. The RAT is electrically isolated so it won’t lead to any corrosion of the host structure.
Depending on operational needs it can also employ the default light strap (part number 0009-0925_01) or if required by customer for tighter stronger fastening, an insulated wire rope (part number 0009-0925_02).
