The Wire Rope Cutter is a small, compact guillotine type cutter. It is a hydraulically driven unit, which is capable of cutting 38.1mm (1 1/2″) 1960MPa grade Steel Wire.
The TMT Cutter Assembly includes an adapted ROV handle that allows for Manipulator control as well as assists in locating the wire to the cutting position. The 40m Cutter requires 10,000psi (690bar) working pressure; therefore, a TMT 10K Intensifier is required to achieve the specified pressure.
