TMT Longreach Machine
The TMT Longreach Machine is designed to remotely position and operate a hydraulically powered breaker head within extreme environments.
This track-based crawling machine has a slewing, luffing, and extending boom. The boom is built to withstand significant reaction force, hydraulically operate tools such as a rock breaker and has a reach of up to 10m (customised to suit).
It is an excellent example of retrofitting remote operation to an existing machine, thus improving efficiency and safety by allowing the operator to pilot the machine from outside of the work area. The TMT Longreach Machine is remotely controlled using a belly pack controller or can be automated to meet client requirements. It also can be fitted with a wide variety of tools and customised to suit client needs and most applications.
