The TMT modification allows the IW16 1 inch drive to adapt to a Class 4 1.5 inch square socket which is encased in a TMT designed and manufactured Class 4 nose cone. The drive section is pressure compensated. The tool has a simple ROV manipulator operated reversing handle.
The manufacturer of the base tool considers this to be a rotational tool with a suggested depth rating of 500′ or 150MSW. TMT’s modification and pressure compensation system may allow the tool to be operated at greater depths.
