The LRP Lift Cap Manipulator Torque Tool (MTT) is a manual torque tool designed specifically for the Lower Riser Package (LRP) of the Funnel and Lift Cap Assembly.

The MTT is installed on-cap using an ROV manipulating the top handle, featuring the TMT Flexi Joint. With the top fittings aligned on the cap bolts, the lower socket should align with the target locking screw. Once snuggly over the target bolt (may require the handle to be turned slightly to align the socket with the bolt head) the manipulator then applies a counter-clockwise torque to the lower handle to unscrew the Lower Riser Package (LRP) locking screws so that the LRP can be removed.
The torque required for the LRP locking screws is 150 Nm, and all Schilling Robotic manipulators are capable of at least 170 Nm.
