The Lock Out Tool (LOT) Mk3 is a mechanical locking device for preventing linear actuated subsea valves from closing after valves are opened using an override tool. The LOT can remain subsea long term.

The LOT Mk3 is the only mechanical lock out tool on the market that offers a continuously adjustable lock-out stroke. The stroke length can be adjusted on deck with simple hand tools without needing additional components. Furthermore, the LOT limits the stroke of the override tool, protecting the valve from over-stroking.
Constructed predominantly from high-performance stainless steel alloys and equipped with anodes, the LOT is suitable for long term subsea deployment. Designed for use with ISO Type A Linear Actuated Override Tools (LAOT), the LOT can be supplied with ISO Type A or Type B heads.
