Compatible with Sulfamic acid (20%); McDermott Calciwash
The ISO Bucket Acid Plug is easily inserted into a Class 1-4 Rotary Valve Bucket by ROV and has a soft rubber seal to ensure best seal in a variety of bucket dimensional tolerances. Acid or calciwash is injected via a separately supplied hot stab.
The ISO Bucket Acid Plug is held in place using latch dogs designed to hold a positive pressure (5 psi or 25 psi configurations) within the rotary receptacle. This allows the displacement of the seawater and the positive pressure resists inhibitor wash-out during the de-calcification process.
Shear dowels are fitted to the dogs to allow the forced removal of the plug, if required.
