The unit has three 8 Tb hard drives used for recording survey video, snapshots, and black box video. It also has an SSD which is used for the operating system and the program database. The black box concept automatically records all active video channels as soon as the dive starts. In parallel with the black box video recording, users can record survey videos at will. All video streams are compressed on-the-fly using the efficient compression protocol HEVC (aka H.265) and stored in mp4 files. Snapshots from video files (live or playback) are stored as jpg files. Snapshots can be taken either from the live video, or from recorded video files (survey or black box) positioned at a desired video frame.

Dive and log data can be exported to a user-specified folder, together with a dive report pdf document allowing viewing of the videos and photos through hyperlinks. This feature is ideal for client dive reports.
