The Class 4 to Class 4 Torque Multiplier gearbox converts the standard Class 4 input torque of 2,700 Nm to 6,780 Nm at the output shaft.

It features receptacles for Class 4 latches, enabling secure mating with a Class 4 torque tool and can be deployed via a Flying Lead Orientation Tool (FLOT) for greater flexibility.
The multiplier is independently compensated and can be used at depths to 3000 m. No connection to the ROV is required.
The multiplier can be used with the Electric Smart Torque Tool (NSS-664) to provide safe and precise control of the output torque.
Calibrate this tool with the Class 5 Surface Torque Verification Unit (NSS-309) on deck (with a Class 4 to Class 5 adaptor socket).
