It is an excellent example of remote operation retrofitted to an existing machine, improving efficiency and safety by allowing the operator to pilot the machine at a safe distance, outside of the work area.
The Longreach Machine is built to withstand significant reaction forces from the hydraulic breaker tool and can operate in extremely hostile environments.
A Kubota KX057-4 tracked excavator forms the foundation of the machine. A TMT boom with a remote control belly pack is installed to provide the remote operation functionality.
The Longreach Machine can be customised to suit client needs.
